SHINee will visit Taiwan in August.

Idol group SHINee will be visiting Taiwan for a fan meeting in August.This time, the group will visit as 5 members as Jonghyun wasn't able to join the group during their visit to the country in April. The fan meeting is called ''2013 SHINee Festival Tour in Taipei'' which will be held on the 4th of August at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Hall.

Fans will celebrate SHINee's 5th Anniversary for approximately 2 hours as the boys will perform their hit songs. This is a special event as SHINee made some changes to their schedules just to make this event possible.

Tickets are said to be able on the 29th of June at 12PM.

As previously reported, SHINee designed for SKECHERS as a form of collaboration project with the brand and Naver. Starting on June 26, SHINee’s t-shirts and hats became available for pre-sale order through ‘SKECHER SHOP’ of NAVER’s online shopping website.

On June 27, SM Entertainment also revealed BTS footage from the design meeting held at Seoul’s Cheongdamdong on June 4th. SHINee designed the t-shirts and hats, which fully reflect each of members’ individuality and unique style.

SHINee SKECHERS collaboration line comes in 5 hats and 5 t-shirts and is available for pre-sale order through NAVER shopping website from June 26 to July 16.

Hallyu artists SHINee, BoA and T-ara QBS have made a pleasant debut on Japan’s Oricon chart.

SHINee’s second Japanese album, ‘Boys Meet U’, which was released on June 26th, debuted at the No.2 spot of Oricon’s Daily Album Chart. The album sold 36,402 copies on a single day, proving the group’s popularity in the country.

Also, T-ara’s sub-unit QBS, formed of members Qri, Boram and Soyeon, nabbed seventh place on the same chart with debut single, “Like The Wind”. BoA’s 32nd single album “Tail of Hope” landed on No.11.

SHINee will be recruiting new members for their tour dance team through a TV program.

It has been revealed that Japanese TV program 'Performance A' collaborates with Korean idol group SHINee. The advertisement for the collaboration project was first revealed on the 17th through the program and the purpose of the audition was revealed on the 24th broadcast of the show. It turned out that the dance competition will be held for SHINee's Japan Arena Tour 'SHINee WORLD 2013: Boys Meet U'.

SHINee member Taemin showed his worries when heard the offer as he was wondering if the new members of dance team will be able to learn the complex dance choreography for a short period of time.


The chosen dance team is said to participate in SHINee's concerts from Kobe onwards.

After giving fans a short music video earlier, SHINee has now revealed the full MV for Japanese track “Breaking News”.

“Breaking News” will be included in SHINee’s upcoming second Japanese album ‘Boys Meet U’ which will be released on June 26th. The album will have 12 tracks, including hit singles such as “Sherlock”, “Dazzling Girl”, “1000nen”, “Zutto Soba ni Ite” and “Fire" along with other tracks “Password”, “Run With Me" and more.

After releasing a short music video for the track “Breaking News”, SHINee has now revealed a special album digest of second Japanese album ‘Boys Meet U’, giving fans a preview of the tracks.

SHINee will release their second Japanese album ‘Boys Meet U’ on June 26th. The upcoming album will have 12 tracks, including hit singles such as “Sherlock”, “Dazzling Girl”, “1000nen”, “Zutto Soba ni Ite” and “Fire" along with other tracks “Password”, “Breaking News”, “Run With Me" and more.

SHINee's Choi Minho is the model of his school, Konkuk University.

Member of idol group SHINee, Choi Minho who is currently studying at Konkuk University as a third-year film major is seen at the new brochure of the said university. The main purpose of this to promote Konkuk University and let other people know more about the school. 

In the promotional picture, Minho is seen smiling brightly while wearing a casual attire. As Minho is featured in the brochure, the university is garnering more attention from the students.

"Hong Kong Dome Festival" is an outdoor concert which is to be held at the Kai Tak Development Site on July 1. It will showcase talents of BoA, SHINee, EXO, f(x), Super Junior-M's Henry, and local bands Mr and RubberBand. 

But the Hong Kong fans are not excited about it, they actually want the artists to boycott the event. They even made a Facebook Page to voice out their protest. 

Every year, a pro-democracy protest rally is held on the same day,  July 1, in Hong Kong.
Hong Kong fans believed that it was purposely arranged by the government to halt young people to protest against the Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying. The low ticket price, which is sold for 99 HKD (14,000 won or approximately 12 USD) from the average 1,000 HKD (145,000 won or approximately 128 USD), added to the speculations.

However, organizers of the "Hong Kong Dome Festival" deny the controversy. PIA chairwoman Florence Chan said to South China Morning Post (SCMP), " We picked this day because we wanted to show the government that we need to be competitive in the region, and that would be through holding a big event in a mega venue. For example, Hong Kong Colisseum has a capacity for 12,500, but we need a place with a capacity of 25,000 to 30,000. Regarding the low price tickets, it was to help show public demand for mega shows."

There are no words from the Korean artists, but the local Hong Kong bands Mr and RubberBand will still participate, but will donate their earnings from the concert to charity.

Looks like SHINee Minho and Key's appearance in WGM made Taemin nervous and uncomfortable in front of NaEun.

On June 22nd episode of We Got Married, Key and Minho were invited as guests for the couple's housewarming party. Besides, they even prepared a cute cake for Taemin's celebration of Coming of Age Day.

Apparently, Key and Minho were bored as there's no interaction from the couple. Key initiated and asked Taemin to hold NaEun's hand while slicing the cake which Minho agreed on. The two seemed really awkward in front of the two SHINee members.

Unsatisfied, Minho asked Taemin to put his arm around NaEun's shoulder which made Taemin really uncomfortable. However, thanks to his persistent hyungs, the couple were able to have a cute couple picture taken.

Following the massive success of their third album ‘Why So Serious? – The Misconceptions of Me’, SHINee will be releasing a new album ‘Boys Meet U’ in Japan next week. The group pre-release a short music video for the track “Breaking News”.

Baek Ah Yeon revealed that she wants to appear on MBC’s ‘We Got Married’ with SHINee member Key.

On June 17, the singer held her comeback showcase at the Olleh Square Dream Hall in Seoul to celebrate the release of her new album, ‘A Good Girl’. During a Q&A session, Baek Ah Yeon was asked whose partner she would like to appear with on ‘We Got Married’.

The singer answered, “I’ve never thought about myself appearing on ‘We Got Married’, but if I get a chance, I would want to be on the show with Key from SHINee. I like guys with bright smiles and Key looks really nice when he smiles.”

The boys of SHINee participated in the music video filming for the soundtrack of MBC’s ‘The Queen’s Classroom’.

According to MBC, SHINee and the cast members of cast of ‘The Queen’s Classroom’ filmed the music video inside an auditorium at a junior high school on June 12. The music video is for one of the drama’s OST, which was sung by the idol group.

In the revealed preview stills, child actors Kim Hyang Gi, Chun Bo Geun, Kim Sae Ron, Seo Shin Ae, Lee Young Yoo and more danced along with SHINee, creating a fun and energetic atmosphere for the upcoming music video.

The music video will be released June 20 as well as at the end of episode 4 of ‘The Queen’s Classroom’.

Taemin almost tear up when he realized that NaEun practiced cooking for him on We Got Married.

On the recent episode of We Got Married, the couple has a housewarming party and invited their friends. In preparation for this, NaEun who is clueless in kitchen, shocked Taemin as she prepared dishes in the kitchen showing the result of her cooking practice.

However, Taemin didn't realized it and got worried over her cooking. During the interview, NaEun revealed that she was frustrated when Taemin didn't realized her efforts.

On the other hand, during his interview, Taemin was completely speechless when he was informed that NaEun practiced cooking especially for him.

Hanteo Chart unveiled the “Top 5 Best-Selling Artists & Albums” for the months of January to May 2013.
SHINee topped the 2013 Album Award with Dream Girl: The Misconceptions and they even able to get rank number 5 with their "Why So Serious?" album.
How fortunate SHINee is because they were also able to land on top 1 on 2013 Singer Award.

SHINee has been invited as a special guest in the Ultra Music Festival Korea 2013 (UMF Korea 2013), which is one of the world’s largest electronic music festivals.

According SM Entertainment, SHINee will collaborate with DJ performance team, Beat Burger, and will be performing the remix of three of their hit songs including “Dream Girl”.

The large-scale music event will take place on June 14 and 15, and SHINee will participate on the second day which will be held at the Jamsil Stadium in Seoul.
