It's going to be a back-to-back album release with Big Bang's G-Dragon and Taeyang.

YG has announced that G-Dragon is going to release his 2nd album on August 18 in line with the celebration of his 25th birthday. They've also confirmed that he'll be working with international performer and producer Missy Elliot.

Aside from this, they also release the expected date for Taeyang's 2nd album. They revealed that they are planning to release it in the beginning of September. This is the first one in 3 years after he released his first solo album in 2010.

Taeyang and CL‘s similarities? 
Both of them are in very famous KPop idol groups, CL in 2NE1 and Taeyang in Big Bang.
Both of them had their solos. Taeyang had his solo debut album with ‘HOT’ which included songs like ‘Prayer,’ ‘Look Only At Me,’ and more in 2008. With CL, she just had her solo with ‘The Baddest Female” which will wrap up soon. 
Both of them had performed with international artists. Taeyang with Brian McKnight, while CL shared the stage with The Black Eyed Peas' group leader, Will.I.Am, and its Filipino rapper Apl.De.Ap, an Asian like her, and just recently with Snoop Dogg.
Indeed, both of them have lots of similarities.
